This yummy chew is for somebody very special whose birthday is coming up this month...shhh, don't tell!  It's one prezie of which I picked out special for him.  It has a great flavor that's hard for me to resist. So I know he'll like it.  If you haven't ever chewed an antler, it's the chew of chews!

The First Gardenia Blossomed Today

A sweet surprise in my little garden... this lovely fragrant Gardenia just opened! 

The Conductor is Calling All Aboard!

Have you ever ridden a steam locomotive? This morning, I hopped on board Train No. 11 at Redwood Valley Railway in Tilden Park. The ride is fun and dogs are welcome!  The Chief Engineer for over 30 years, Ray Pimlott, even lent me a conductor's hat for my first locomotive ride, complete with tunnels, whistle blowing, and vista views along the way. Afterward, I played in Tilden Park and enjoyed a sun shiny day.

Texture Tuesday's "It's the Little Things" eDition

Happy Texture Tuesday!

As a mere one-year old pup, one of the birthday presents I received was a kit for raising butterflies. I raised six butterflies from June 24 through July 14, 2010.

Eagerly, I watched them grow everyday, from larva to butterflies. This little one we named Sparrow, and it was the first of the six butterflies to fly away.

Flying High Over the Water

At the beach yesterday, I flew on a mission and it was exhilarating!  I didn't know I had that extra gear in me!

I visited Bubba at the barn afterward, and he is feeling SO much better now.  Thanks for asking!  The medicines have healed his left eye and he's feeling great again.  I didn't see Harley, the Newfie, though, he wasn't around Sunday.  Today, is a gloomy Monday morning, no sunshine yet, but I'm having a play date with Romeo and Max.
