A Country Girl with Muddy Feet
Today, I visited Bubba at the barn and we explored pastures, ate sweet oats, and romped in muddy ground. He's been my dad's best buddy for almost 30 years and is such a sweet old soul.

San Francisco Tourist
Yesterday, I was enjoying some time as a tourist and visited Twin Peaks on my way to a friend's house. With lot's of sunshine and standing at a high elevation, I enjoyed the chance to take in the sea breeze and wide vistas of San Francisco and the East Bay. What a destination place -- Twin Peaks was busy with lot's of visitors smiling for the camera, so I just fit right in smiling for a cool shot.

Lots a Love and Sunshine
Today, I spent an exciting and fun day in San Francisco. I visited a very wonderful dear friend. Her lovely art studio opens out onto her garden and the sounds of the ocean waves from Ocean Beach can be heard in the distance. What a beautiful, exquisite day to be thankful for!

Galloping At the Claremont Hotel
Yesterday, the sun came out at last! And today, it's just super beautiful again. So that inspired a great deal of outdoor time, starting with an early morning gallop down a garden pathway at the fancy star resort Claremont Hotel (no one was around and I'm not so sure if dogs are allowed on the premises, but mom let me off leash for one action shot). I had an active day, I even tried a little rock climbing, for the first time. Now it's time for my afternoon nap, I am dog tired from being on my paws most of the day. And all those weeks of rainy weather that kept me indoors kinda left me out of shape!

Heavy Weather
Partial sun was forecasted, but the weather today was heavy again.
I got out of bed reluctantly. After breakfast, I attended obedience class in the mushy sopping wet muddy park. Only 3 other doggies joined. We practiced heeling around the other doggies. We also practiced long sits with eye contact. And, we practiced downs and stays from a distance off leash. The most fun exercise is COME! ending with a finish - a half circle behind mom and a sit at her left. I love running, so I eagerly await her command so I can run as fast as I can! Everyone laughs because I'm so enthusiastic. Then rewards... pats, praises, and treats.
After class, I got taken to the dog wash for a lov'n bath. So now I smell delicious and have a fluffy thick coat of wavy fur and am ready to start the week squeaky clean!
