Seeing The Big Ocean Waves At Baker Beach, San Francisco

Seeing The Big Ocean Waves At Baker Beach, San Francisco

So here's Baker Beach, San Francisco, one of the most beautiful beautiful beaches and doggy friendly! Yes! Dogs can run wild and free off leash! And humans can sun bathe nude. The waves form gradually wide and high, and come crashing onto the beach, making lots of white foam. The view all around is quite memorable, one not to forget.

I can't keep my tongue in my mouth, it's that much fun!

Finally, I get to romp in the snow!!!

What? It's not snow?

Oh well, it'll do! And it's just as cold.

China Beach, San Francisco

The only tracks in the sand left behind were mine! I love beaches like that. But China Beach is (sshhh - don't get mad at me please) off limits to dogs. The fines are big if caught, and luckily I didn't get caught. I only stayed on the beach for 15 minutes for a good zoomie run and cool dip in the ocean. And, then, we drove further down the cove to Baker Beach where dogs are allowed off leash!

My First Jellyfish Encounter on China Beach, San Francisco

Some dangers on the beach are jellyfish. As you can see from my face, I think jellyfish are not to be meddled with! I did not get stung, luckily this jellyfish was pretty washed up.

Running Free On China Beach, San Francisco

My last zoomie before leaving China Beach. It happens to be my favorite beach of all, but since it's closed to dogs, I doubt I'll get to visit it again. Oh well, next stop will be Baker Beach. And, that beach is enormous! Baker Beach allows people to sunbathe naked!

Really? Did You Say Beach?

Really? Did You Say Beach?

We headed for the beach, cuz there's no way I could leave San Francisco without visiting the most beautiful beaches in the world... two of the most beautiful beaches... China Beach and Baker Beach. Both beaches have views of the Golden Gate Bridge. And both beaches have wonderful big waves and big rocks.

Lot's of action beach shots coming up...

Another adventure in San Francisco was had at Sutro Cliffs, which has the greatest view of the entire Ocean Beach from enormous heights. It was spectacular on such a warm, bright, sunny, refreshing day. I never would have thought it was winter.

I almost feel like I'm in Holland! Goede Middag! Het is een mooie dag in San Francisco! Two things missing are those charming old canals and delicious oud belange kaas! We have tulips and fiets in Golden Gate Park.

Standing In "Portals of the Past" In Golden Gate Park

Having just fallen in Lloyd Lake, I stand dripping wet inside Portals of the Past, which was part of the entrance for a Nob Hill Mansion destroyed in the 1906 earthquake. The columns, left standing after the collapse of the house, were transported to the park and installed in 1909 as a memorial.

Think I Can Walk In These?

I just had to try it. Couldn't resist giving those hi-heels a whirl. After seeing Bowfinger, I just can't get that hilarious scene with Betsey walking in her heels out of mind! Betsey did a really great job walking in those shoes, cuz I'd say, it's nearly impossible, ladies. How do you not twist your ankles in hi-heels?
