My Birthday Began With A Morning Visit to the Beach & A Big Surprise Greeting

Today I am 2 years old!
My day has been just wonderful, so far. It began with a visit up the hill to watch the goats grazing. Then, I went for a morning visit to the beach, where I met a turtle who came out of the sea. How exciting. Then, I got taken to Pet Express for a free birthday bath - isn't that nice! I've had several walks, and now some of my friends are here with me - Romeo and Max. It also is Max's birthday today. He turns seven years old today. I think it's cool that he and I share the same birthdate.
Anyway, there are lot's of prezzies sitting in the middle of the living room, and a big enormous birthday cookie... we're just waiting for the pawty to begin at 5pm! One of the prezzies is from my handsome beaux, Mr. Stanley! Stay tuned for some pawty pix later.

ViVi's Spring Portrait
Oh, Springtime is such a pretty season for love and light, hope and new life. Today, I posed for my springtime portrait. I had a bath yesterday after the beach, so I'm very soft, fluffy, and clean today. I smell like oatmeal mango shampoo! I also got to wear a pretty pink scarf to match the pink cherries blossoms in full bloom. The day is just too beautiful to be anywhere except outdoors. So, now it's time to go back outdoors and enjoy the beautiful new flowers opening up every where! I wish everyone a lovely gentle, kind, happy spring this year.

Galloping At the Claremont Hotel
Yesterday, the sun came out at last! And today, it's just super beautiful again. So that inspired a great deal of outdoor time, starting with an early morning gallop down a garden pathway at the fancy star resort Claremont Hotel (no one was around and I'm not so sure if dogs are allowed on the premises, but mom let me off leash for one action shot). I had an active day, I even tried a little rock climbing, for the first time. Now it's time for my afternoon nap, I am dog tired from being on my paws most of the day. And all those weeks of rainy weather that kept me indoors kinda left me out of shape!

Really? Did You Say Beach?
We headed for the beach, cuz there's no way I could leave San Francisco without visiting the most beautiful beaches in the world... two of the most beautiful beaches... China Beach and Baker Beach. Both beaches have views of the Golden Gate Bridge. And both beaches have wonderful big waves and big rocks.
