Hi my friends,

Thank you all for your well wishes for Bubba, who I'm glad to say feels somewhat better today. Poor big boy, he looks like he was in a boxing ring. His eye is less swollen today and he's feeling relief from the medicine. We bought him a new fly mask. He and I share a wonderful daddy who takes good care of us. You can see, right behind me, Bubba is getting some lov'n from his daddy.

Going Back In Time for Father's Day - Daddy And Me When I Was 3-Months Old

I love my daddy so much!

He is a horse whisperer and a dog whisperer. He is a wonderful daddy. And because Father's Day is only two more days away, I'm going down memory lane, remembering some of the tender moments we've shared together in our lives.

This photo was taken on September 25th, 2009, when I was a 3-month old pup and I could be scooped up in daddy's arms. That's not possible now with my 76 pounds of body weight, so those moments being held in his arms are very precious.

Heavy Weather

Partial sun was forecasted, but the weather today was heavy again.

I got out of bed reluctantly. After breakfast, I attended obedience class in the mushy sopping wet muddy park. Only 3 other doggies joined. We practiced heeling around the other doggies. We also practiced long sits with eye contact. And, we practiced downs and stays from a distance off leash. The most fun exercise is COME! ending with a finish - a half circle behind mom and a sit at her left. I love running, so I eagerly await her command so I can run as fast as I can! Everyone laughs because I'm so enthusiastic. Then rewards... pats, praises, and treats.

After class, I got taken to the dog wash for a lov'n bath. So now I smell delicious and have a fluffy thick coat of wavy fur and am ready to start the week squeaky clean!
