This weekend I'm entertaining a guest. Devereaux, the tiniest dawg I've ever known, is sleeping over for a few nights while his mommy is away.

He sure is a little sprite. He may be really tiny, only weighing about 4 pounds, but he sure can jump! +1 in comment! Look at his long legs - he jumped onto the desk!

Texture Tuesday's theme is "love."

Well, there's a lot'a love everywhere in my life... every which way I go, and pretty much every moment of the day, I know what love is, given and received. Picking one photo to sum up love is impossible. I ultimately chose this one for today's Texture Tuesday Love eDition.

Penny and I had a very wonderful puppy childhood together, that was, until she moved away. This moment was very very special because it was Christmas morning in 2009, and we had just woken up, and were surrounded by Christmas presents, and my loving pawents. Penny was staying at my house because her pawents went away for a few days. That Christmas week she and I spent together were amazing.

How sweet is love?
It's very very sweet.

So, what better texture to apply today, than Kim Klassen's "Love."

Ah, spa! Today was dawgie day at the spa and this is my new fur stylist, Heather from Paws and Claws. Her touch is so sweet and gentle. She worked on me for two full hours and gave me the best coif ever! (After pix coming tomorrow).

Thanks for your advice, my friends! I kept my feathered paws. Just had them trimmed a teensy bit to keep them somewhat even around the edges. My feets looks puffy!

This morning, I'll be trying a new doggy spa for some coiffing. Hopefully, my new hairstylist will straighten out some of my silly hair flips! However, I've grown a bit partial to having feathers in my paws. What do you think? Feathered, or not feathered paws?

Happy Sliders Sunday!

It's raining today. So am doing some experimentation for Sliders Sunday group, which I was recommended to join. So, this is my first one. Pushed a vignette layer to 100%, erased some to keep the shadow well lit, and slid the sharpness up high on the water ripples!

It's so hard to believe this photo is already over 2 years ago. Back then I didn't know if I wanted to swim. The water was so daunting yet intriguing. And now, I'm a big girl at two, and just splash right in!

What are you doing today?

Yesterday (Saturday), I met up with Flickr friend Leilani, aka Heavenly~Flower! She and her husband came all the way to San Francisco from Kansas! We really enjoyed our short, but sweet meet up. I will post a photo of us together from yesterday later for you to see... and she took some shots too of us, which you'll probably get to see soon on her stream.
