Happy First Day of September to you. This morning I visited my favorite spot by the lake in Temescal Park. It was so serene and quiet - great way to start September. I hope that Stanley receives his birthday present today. And, I hope that everyone has a good start to the first month of autumn.

The Fedex man delivered the package back to me today, and I pawdographed my receipt of it. So, let's try this again tomorrow. Stanley, your birthday present will be there soon, I promise... just a few more days. So far, your present has traveled 5,796 miles, if not more, and by the time it arrives in your paws, it will have travelled a total of 8,694 miles, at least. I rewrapped the package for you, birthday boy, so you can enjoy opening it!
