My Valentine's Day Countdown got a little interrupted with yesterday's move to the new studio and the little tour I gave leading to the belfry and the chapel, but today, we'll be resuming the countdown.

{2/10/11} My First Day In The New Art Studio
This morning, we got an early start and arrived to work at the new studio at 7am! We moved just a few things into the new space, and after the move and a quick photo session (photos will be coming for Valentines Day), I was tired and fell asleep for a little nap.

{2/8/11} The Valentine's Contest Drawing
Today Maddy came over for a playdate, and together we decided that this is a pretty red box (don't you think?) to use for the Valentine's Day Contest drawing.
If you haven't yet heard, I'll be holding a surprise contest drawing on Valentine's Day for everyone. I will draw 5 winning numbers out of this red box. I love the submissions entered so far! It will be an exciting surprise to see the end result, depending on the winning photos. So to those who haven't yet, please join the fun and enter the contest here before Valentine's Day.

Could I Try Horseback Riding Lessons?
Saturday afternoon, waiting at the barn for Bubba to come out of his stall, I sat and watched a riding lesson and started thinking how fun that could be. My daddy says Bubba would gladly give me a ride on his back.
Country Bathing
The way to clean your coat when you're out in the country: add the fresh country fragrances to the back of your neck and behind your ears.
This is my tomboy side -- the one that rolled in coyote poop just a couple weeks ago.
