{1/19/11 ~ 19/365 2011} My Dog Day Afternoon

I was demonically possessed today, somewhat. It must have been my evil twin. Or maybe the full moon. I gallantly rolled in a heap of poop, (coyote dung - the most pungent smelling kind of poop) smearing it on my face, neck, ears, and back. It felt great, I found the odor so attractive. But, then... I got sacked - forbidden to enter home, plastic bags (yes, they're good for something) got thrown over my head to cover the doo doo on my chin, ears, chest and neck. I did not make my mom happy. She put me in the car and forbid me to remove the bags off my head with my paws. I was so demoralized. When the car stopped, I found myself at the beach! I swam off most of the poop. And, after the beach, mom dragged me into Pet Express for a thorough washing, and bought me a new raspberry color collar and lead. I'm not so proud of myself, cuz while I thought I was being funny and cute, mom wasn't amused.

{1/17/11 ~ 17/365 2011} Play Day With O'Brother Bubba

Today I had a play day with big old 30-year Bubba. I ran circles around him, and while I ran zoomies, he watched me with great big eyes. We enjoyed a sunny day in the country with summer-like temperatures. I ate carrots and pretended I was a horse.





I was horsing around today... zooming busily... it was so exciting being the only dog around happy horses. It's fun pretending to be a horse, as they really know the freedom of running wildly in the wind.



A new found friend.



With mud on my nose, the day is complete. I'm a country girl at heart.
